where can I download the Hitachi HD44780 driver

I've been trouble shooting my 16X2 LCD. Checked all of my connections...everything seems fine. I think I may be missing the Hitachi HD44780 driver cause I checked my Arduino/drivers folder and it wasn't there. Where can I download this driver?

The Library handles that. I have several 1602 displays and have never downloaded a driver.
You have to save the file in your sketch folder and the IDE installed LiquidCrystal library
should work.
Where is you file ?
What code are using?
How did you wire it ?
We need a photo of your circuit wiring so we can see where the wires go.
You telling they seem ok is not sufficient. They may be. They may not be.
If you want our help we need the above.
We need to see both sides of lcd.
