My sketch is stuck on "uploading...".
Several people on the forum have recommended to do this to fix the issue:
(In the Arduino IDE) File > Preferences.
Uncheck the checkbox next to “Show verbose output during: compilation”
Check the checkbox next to "Show verbose output during: upload.
Click “OK”
Sketch > Upload.
What IDE version?
What OS?
What Arduino?
Have you tried a full computer restart?
You re may about to upload to an device that is different from the selected device in ide
Thanks for replying missdrew.
Arduino IDE 1.8.19
Windows 10
ESP32 module
I have tried a full restart on the computer.
You might be onto something ausgelachtxr. I am trying to upload to an ESP32. How do I select a device in ide?
I don't see the ESP32 on the Tools>Board. How do I get that to be an option?
Thank You cattledog. I did that and it worked. Now back to my original question though. Where did the “Show verbose output during: compilation” go? It is not on the preferences panel and yet there are several references to it.
Your should see this under preferences. Do you see the two selections for show verbose output.
Thank You cattledog! I found it! Yay!
