I was on arduino discord server and one day I noticed that I've got banned! No one said me reason why, and what do I need to do to get unbanned?
Hello @matrixik1337 ,
Unfortunately, as far as I know, no one on this forum has any say over what happens over in the Discord forum so I would not expect anyone here to be able to give you a helpful answer. The only regular contributor to this forum who is an Arduino employee, as opposed to a volunteer, is @pert, so I have invited him to this topic. However, I'll be surprised if he can offer any more help than I can.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
Perhaps you'll get better help here.
Hi @matrixik1337. I'm sorry you were banned from the Arduino Discourse server.
My suggestion is that you take this as an opportunity to switch to using Arduino Forum as your place to discuss all things related to Arduino and embedded systems. You have already created a forum account, so you are set to do so!
We have a very nice community here and the forum platform is very high quality (far superior to Discord's technology for this use case IMO). You might find you like it better over here.
A good way to get started on the right foot here is reading the helpful "How to get the best out of this forum" guide.
Hi, thank you for your answer! I like voice chats more and that is why I like discord. My nickname is matrixrt1337, and I just want to know reason why I have banned, and how to get unbanned
Discord is definitely the platform to use for that.
I don't have any involvement in the management of the Discord server, so I don't have any special access to that information.
You can contact Arduino technical support via the contact form here to see if they are able to assist you:
IDK what to select in fields "How can we help" and second one. There is no categories which will match with my problem
How about:
How can we help you: Account & Personal data
What is this about: I can't access my account
It seems to me that being banned is basically an account suspension, the result of which is that you can no longer log into the site.
Go to your local wifi spot. Get another account. Don't make waves this time.
It has already been explained that this is the wrong forum for that. But I can imagine why there could be a problem.
