Words not fully showing up on my LCD Screen

Hello im working on my school research project and im dealing with an Arduino Micro. Im trying to get "Hello Word" showing on my LCD but only "orld" is popping up. Does anyone know how i can fix this problem would help me out alot. Please and Thank you!!

I think you should re-check the following:
1 - loose connections
2 - try to rotate the pot for background led light
3 - order of wire connection between LCD and Arduino

Show the connections to the board. If the connections aren't incredibly obvious what goes where, show a schematic (actually a good idea just by itself). Show the sketch. Use the <CODE/> tag. Then it'll be possible to give informed advice.

What does the back of the LCD look like? I will guess a pin responsible for the first eight characters of both rows have been damaged or bridged. Maybe the two blobs over the chips got squished.
