AC 220-240V 50/60 Hz cooling fan control with Arduino MKR WiFi 1010

Hello everyone. I want to control my 220-240 V AC cooling fan (Tidar, Model: 92x92x25) with my Arduino MKR WiFi 1010 card. But 220 V is a high value and I'm afraid it might cause damage. How should I make the connections? For example, do I need to reduce the voltage with a MOSFET or Relay? What can I do? I couldn't find any examples on the internet that would work for me with a 220 V AC fan. Thanks everyone in advance...

Use SSR, Solid State Relays. Conventional relay can be used for on/off at a very low rate as mechanical relays have a limited number of strokes.

Can you be little bit more specific. You want to control... on/off? speed? movement? wireless? online?

Welcome! Sorry I cannot answer your question. Do you want to just turn it on and off or control the speed? Post a link for the fan's technical information. All I could find is a 24VDC unit.

I want to control the cooling fan only on and off. I will add a switch via dashboard

I want to control the cooling fan only on and off. I will add a switch via dashboard. Its my cooling fan: Tidar Kare Fan 92 X 92 X 38 220V - Fan ve Havalandırma Grubu - Nalburcenter

You only need a relay module like this:

Ac 220V is optoisolated, you don't need to worry about your circuit.

How do you control the fan right now?

I can't control it right now  . I'm continuing to research how to connect a 220 V AC cooling fan (2 wires) to the Arduino board.

So you have no proof it even works?
