Arduino Bluethooth MAX connection

Hi all!
This forum has been really helpful, so I thank you all.
I am currently using my arduino to send data, serially, to MAX/MSP and output sounds. However my project needs to work over long distance, and therefore requires the data to be sent by bluetooth. Does anyone know how I can send data from my arduino to MAX and control the output this way? What modules will I need for the arduino and what is the setup in MAX/MSP?
I'd be grateful for any help.
Thanks!

It is an arduino uno by the way

may this might work for you?

hope that helps....

what is long distance? 10 metres, 100metres, killometre?, 100killometres?
Bluetooth classic can operate of a killometre but depends on transmitter power, antenna, receiver, etc
have a look at ESP32-With-External-Long-Distance-Antenna

Hey thanks!
Although you've done extra. I only need to connect one arduino to a PC using a HC-05 module and control MAX/MSP. I was just wondering if there were any avid MAX users who had experience with this before?

if you do a web search for arduino MAX/MSP you will get plenty of links
