Arduino Uno R3 Dimensions

I want to fix my Arduino Uno R3 on PCB using male connector (PCB header) on my PCB.

What is the pitch of the connectors?
What is the height of Arduino connector above the Arduino evaluation board PCB?

Please let me know this as soon as possible. I am searching online but not getting this inof.

Note in advance: you might be better off using a (classic) Arduino Nano.

0.1"
Be aware of the odd gap between pin 7 and 8.

Not sure what you mean; you can measure the height of the connectors with a vernier.

You can download the Eagle file from Arduino UNO Rev3 – Reliable ATmega328P Board with Digital & Analog I/O — Arduino Official Store

+1 for

What software are you using to design the PCB ?

It is very likely that it has a footprint from the Uno but, as has been suggested, a Nano classic might be a more appropriate form factor to use

We are using Altium for PCB design.

Hello Sterretje,

Thanks for the reply.

Pitch = 0.1 inches for the connectors marked red in below image.

Can you please confirm...

yes the four sets of pins have a 0.1" pitch individually — but the distance between the sets is not a multiple of 0.1"

Thanks @J-M-L for quick response.

Can you please send me the download link for this Arduino drawing pdf.
I will share to PCB layout engineer.

that was not the UNO so I removed it

if you search for "Arduino Uno dimensions" you'll get some hits like

this is from this pdf

Your PCB layout engineer should get the Eagle file I mentioned before...

Maybe this helps: arduino-footprint-altium/Sources/uno.PcbLib at master · sajjsamm/arduino-footprint-altium · GitHub (part of GitHub - sajjsamm/arduino-footprint-altium: Arduino Uno and Arduino Mega as components in Altium Designer along with footprints. · GitHub).

Found by searching the web for altium arduino uno footprint

Thank You @J-M-L,
are the files compatible for Altium also ?

My Verner callipers give this as 4.8mm for the capacitors next to the power jack socket.

Do you know that you can get Arduino shield PCBs that allow you to make stuff to put onto an Arduino. I have a few of these.

Arduino shield

Hello @J-M-L ,

This pdf at https://epow0.org/~amki/car_kit/Datasheet/ELEGOO%20UNO%20R3%20Board.pdf
shows the details for ELEGOO UNO R3.
Is this same as Arduino Uno R3?

Seriously? Because it doesn't appear you've searched at all. One Google search for "Arduino Uno R3 dimensions" brought up a multitude of dimensioned drawings. Including this one:

With Arduino products, these are usually referred to as a "Shield", mount atop (Uno) or under (Nano) the Arduino and either have a single purpose (for example, motor driver), or allow for various jumpers (male and female) or protoboard solder pads.

If you are making a pcb, why not just use a bare 328 chip ?

smaller board , cheaper

It is ELEGOO UNO R3.
Is it same as Arduino Uno R3? Can we use it for Arduino R3 ?

I would assume so

What is the pitch size of the connector pins ?
