Beginer needs help, No associated device found

My first project with Arduino IOT was successful a few months ago, coming back to it now I can't upload a sketch because the IDE says 'No associated device found' for Thing 'ESP01' but Things/Setup shows device 'Artelis' is an Associated Device.

I think the Create Agent is running. My PC runs in Linux (Kubuntu 22.04) and Firefox is my browser.

I'd appreciate any help.

Should also have mentioned that my device is a D1 Mini NodeMCU and was set up as a third party device.

Also the device (Wemos) is connected to the PC and the local Arduino IDE can communicate with it.

It WAS the Create Agent after all.
Having installed the agent from the zip download I have a desktop icon (nothing in the icon tray), clicking the icon does nothing(I think). In the ArduinoCreateAgent folder is Arduino_Create_Agent_cli which has an option to run in Terminal and this seems to have done the trick.
