So i just got my ESP and Arduino with Type C, when i connect it using my USB port is working but when i try using my C port from my laptop is not working.
Did i must install some driver???
Some USB -C chargers require a message from the device to be charged to tell the USB-C charger to work. I've had the same issue with trying to charge USB-C items, e.g. headphones.
How to do it though??
Can you give me some step or reference
I use a USB wall wart type charger (not a high performance USB-C wall wart, that charges my mobile super fast) and a USB-A to USB-C cable. The wall wart only supplies a limited current, not sure of the value.
What if i want upload some code using USB C port to my esp type c pinout, because the com is not recognized, but when i use my USB A port to esp type c the com is appeared in device manager
I've heard of rare issues where a USB C cable has to be turned over because not all device pins are supported and it's not truly symmetrical. Possibly a bad cable? Have you tried turning reversing the pc/device plugs and flipping them over? Maybe try a different cable?
I do not know, sorry I cant help withthat query ![]()
Its ok thx
I will try about the symmetrical, but the cable isnt bad because i can use the cable from another use (ex: transfer file from android)
