If only the housings were keyed in some way to prevent reverse connection

I use a polarizing key but it does cost one position which may not work for you.

I made and repaired hundreds and hundreds of cables (not just wires) that helped keep the free world free. I am happy I was on your mind this whole time, and I could solicit from you the drive to get it done right, even if just for spite. Keep it up.
