I have a Mega2560, and I've installed the Arduino 1.8.19 (windows store 1.8.57.0) app on my windows machine.
It shows up as an "Unknown USB Device"
I can see posts like this: Device Descriptor Request Failed
But I don't see a drivers folder in my Arduino folder. So I'm not sure where to get the driver at.
I believe I have the ATmega16u2 based on pictures in other posts.
Help is appreciated!
Bump. I'm super lost here and I'd really like to get my project started 
Can anyone point me to where I can find the driver for the Mega2560?
Update. I've made some progress and at least found my drivers folder. In that driver folder I can't find the Mega2560 driver, BUT it was in a zip of old drivers. When I try manually installing the old driver for a Mega2560 I get this error message:
Re-install the IDE, after temporarily disabling your antivirus.
Another update. I was able to get it by uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it by pointing to the unzipped folder of old-drivers.
