COM PORTS

I am a nooby,,
I changed a few things in settings,( cant remember what ) on my UNO while trying to add a bootloader to a NANO via the UNO,,I dont know if that has done something but now I cant seem to connect to COM PoRTs on my laptop,I downloaded a virtual serial port driver and added PORTS 1 through 8, they show up on my device manager, with no yellow triangle,,although the original port has the yellow triangle still, and I have changed that port number, but still the yellow triangle,,
I am now thinking its in the settings of the arduino UNO,,
Can you tell me,what are the factory settings for the UNO so I can do a factory reset,or a manual reset. I am hoping that is all the problem is,,Please advise.

Cheers Ted

That is not a genuine Arduino...
you need CH340 drivers not Arduino drivers - How to Install CH340 Drivers - SparkFun Learn

Assuming you are using the arduino IDE to access the UNO, with the USB plugged in, have you gone to Tools and scrolled down to Port to see if a com port is listed? If one is listed, make sure it is selected.
