Connecting a 2-pin jst battery to an adafruit huzzah breakout esp8266

Hi guys, as the title suggests I have an adafruit huzzah breakout esp8266:

I want to connect a li-ion battery with a 2-pin JST connector to it:

It doesn't need to be on for very long, just long enough for a short presentation, so I am using a small battery.

Unfortunately the type of board I have doesn't have a built-in JST connector so what would be the best way to connect the type of battery pictured to the type of board pictured?

You could get a JST header breakout like this one: JST-PH 2-Pin SMT Right Angle Breakout Board : ID 1862 : $1.50 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits. And then solder the "breakout board" to the Huzzah.

You could also get a JST extension wire like this one: JST-PH Battery Extension Cable - 500mm : ID 1131 : $1.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits. Cut off the end you don't need, solder the other end into the board.

Of course, I would have bought the Huzzah Feather which includes a charger circuit for the LiPo.
