Hi
I just started playing with Arduino, would it be possible to control an Pittman Elcom SL 4444E102 motor with a L298n and Arduino? I don't know that much of this motor. I guess it is an brushless motor? Attaching an image of it.

You will need to find a data sheet for the motor. My quick search did not turn one up, so it may be a custom item.
Here is some kind of data sheet that mentions the same series.

If i apply voltage to the lower three cables orange, brown and red I can get the motor to move in random ways, isnt it just to controll those three wires?
That does appear to be a brushless motor, and you will need an appropriate brushless motor driver. As page PE-14 of that data sheet indicates, the three sensor outputs direct the driver to energize the three windings with the correct sequence and timing.
The L298 is fine for small brushed DC motors, but useless for a brushless motor.
