Does a regular NRF24L01+ can communicate with an NRF24L01+ antenna version?

I am working on a simple weather station with an outside unit, which sends data, and an inside unit with a tft. There are parts in the house where the signal gets lost.

Where should I put the antenna version? The sender, the receiver, or both?

You may find that if the high power nRF24 is too close to the other nRF24 they won't work. I think they should be OK with about 3m of separation.

Also the high power version will need a separate 3.3v power supply - an Arduino 3.3v pin can't provide enough current.
