Hello everyone
I created this schematic for a robot that can be driven on the ground and controlled via an RC remote control. It also has additional functions for light and sound.
Before I start assembling, would it work like this?
Greetings Huwi
One step at a time.
The lights, sounds and the motor functions can all be built and tested independently. You will need some Arduino code to test those.
When all are working properly, start putting them together to complete the project.
3.3k seems a bit large for a base resistor. Presumably those are 2n2222 transistors, not "2n222" ?
The switched ground on the 4.5V battery looks weird; I'm not sure what that's supposed to accomplish, or whether it will work. If you want that Arduino signal to turn on both the 12V and 4.5V supplies, why not just use a DPDT relay?
There are 2n2222 transistors, and I calculated the resistance and also tested it. I don't use a DPDT relay because I don't have one at home and thought maybe it would work as in the schematic.
Hmm. The LEDs should have current-limiting resistors, unless they are built-in.
I use LEDs from an LED strip that is rated for 12 volts.
Do you mean that you took the LEDs out of the strip?
I cut off part of the strip, but with the resistors. I tested it with 12 volts and it works perfectly.
But do you think it will be a problem with the unusual control type of 4.5 volts?
The 4.5V circuit looks like nonsense to me. But have fun and learn as you go.
So would you take a DPDT relay and then switch the power and unite the 0 volt?
Yes. that T2 circuit will not work.
Can you please tell us your electronics, programming, arduino, hardware experience?
Are you prepared to develop your project in stages?
Prototype each type of peripheral SEPARATELY, BEFORE combining them one at a time?

Why it will not work?
I'm doing an apprenticeship as an automation engineer. I am familiar with the individual electronic components and also with programming. But I don't have much experience with drawing diagrams yet. That's why I would be happy if someone could explain to me what is wrong and how it would be right.
And yes, I am prepared to develpp my project in stages.
