My project is a submarine. I need some advice on driving at least two bilge pump motors (2.5-4A each @12VDC) as thrusters and a servo or stepper motor to position the rudder. I would like to use an Arduino because of the ease with which I can interface a PlayStation 2 controller.
The motors would need to be controlled independently (e.g. left thruster independent of right thruster) and reversible (e.g. forward and backward).
Are there any drivers which play especially well (or are especially well supported) with the Arduino? Are there any tutorials or how-to's on setting them up with the Arduino?
