Edge Control, does it support lacthing valves?

Hello,

After reading this tutorial:
edge-control motorized-ball-valve
I wonder if it's possible to use this board to control latching valves instead of motorized like this one: https://store.rainbird.com/tbospsol-tbos-potted-latching-solenoid.html
These latching valves are designed to work with battery irrigation controllers and they need a 9V pulse with a duration of around 150ms to open, and an -9V inverted pulse with the same duration to close.

Has someone already tested these latching valves with Edge Control?

Hi David,

Yes it is possible to use this type of latching valves. Connectors J9 and J10 provide outputs to latching devices like motorized valves. The latching output consists of
dual channels (P and N) through which an impulse or strobe can be sent in either of the 2 channels (to open a close
valve for example). The duration of the strobes can be configured to adjust to the external device requirement.
