This is an important part of responsible forum usage, as explained in the "How to get the best out of this forum" guide. The guide contains a lot of other useful information. Please read it.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Hi @zaberwolfi

Which version of Arduino IDE are you using (e.g., "2.0.1")? The version is shown on the window title bar and also in the Help > About dialog.

Which operating system are you using (e.g., "Windows")?

I ask because I would like to give you the appropriate instructions for your IDE and operating system.

Are you following some instructions to do that? If so, please provide a link to those instructions in a reply here. One of the potential causes of this error is a bug in the package index, but we would need to know the "Additional Boards Manager URL" you used in order to check that. The installation instructions should include that URL.

Problem solved

Great work finding the workaround for the bug in the Arducam package index!

I see it was reported to Arducam here:

I see you edited this information into your original post after I requested it. For future reference, that is a very bad idea. You should instead add additional information as a reply in the forum thread. At best, the person requesting the information is likely to never notice the edit. At worst doing this sort of thing makes some of the helpers here quite irate.
