This relay has no VCC, it has a COM screw terminal

That looks to be correct, so you will need a transistor between the Arduino pin and the relay so the unknown current can be supplied to the relay. Your Arduino cannot be connected directly to the input because it cannot supply the power necessary to operate the relay. I hope you did not purchase this device to be used with an Arduino!

These modules come in 3 versions. You mentioned the 5.0 Volt version but your images reflect either the 12 Volt AC/DC or the 24 Volt AC/DC modules apparent by the full wave diode bridge. The 5.0 Volt DC will not have a full wave diode bridge. So exactly which module do you have? The schematics you posted don't match a 5 volt module?
