How to use jws-d6-v3-0402 microwave radar modules

Im new to sensors and IoT development. im trying to get response from jws-d6-v3-0402 sensor but so far i coudn't get it working.

did hours of googling but couldn't find any proper documentation except for online sellers. so far only document i came across this sensor is that its not working!!

No, I have not tried it. But tell us how you are powering the device and how you are attempting to monitor it's response. What testing did you do, in detail?
I am sure you saw the specs "1. Smart sensor:When human move into sensoring range,it will output High TTL level in one delay period. Then restore to Low TTL level.
2. Smart delay:If human move before sensor again, module will keep output High TTL level in one delay period until move away,"
Before you bought it.
Since there seems to be no one doing anything with it and it first came out in 2018, I suspect you are going to be the first to get it working. What is your reason to buy it?
Paul

bought it because most famous RCWL-0516 radar sensor is always out of stock in my local electronics shop :(. problem with these devices is that output is always high no matter how i isisolate the device.

its a simple device with only 3 pins. Vcc, Gnd and Out. i just connected it to 5v(vcc, gnd) and checked the voltage between out and ground terminals. which resulted in always high voltage value.

Please confirm that you understand the device only watches for MOVEMENT, and that is how you are testing it.

Paul

yeah. exactly. i even kept the device in empty room for several minutes monitoring the voltage output via remote camara. but it always outputs 5v's regardless of ths movements or surrounding.

BUT! Did you or someone else actually walk in front of the sensor? Nothing will change until a reflected signal is received from a MOVING person.

Paul

Your experience backs up the conclusion reported on the web page linked in the first post. The sensors are not functional, as wired.

My advice is to safely dispose of them and start over with something known to work.
