I have a rele 5V DC and I want to control a water pump.

My Question is. Have I feed it with a external battery water pump. Or I can use a transistor and increase 5v to 12 V what I get relay.

You want to power the relay using an external battery water pump?

You want to increase voltage from 5V to 12V using a transistor?

Answer = You can power the relay using a battery but not with a water pump. Use a boost converter to increase voltage.

That eBay link is for a pump requiring 2.5 to 6v, not 12v.
