I am designing a circuit that will have 6 MAX7219 chips. I will be putting a 10uF and 0.1uF capacitors in parallel between 5V and GND for pin#19.

Do I just need one pair of 10uF and 0.1uF capacitors on the power input for the whole circuit, or do I need a pair for each MAX7219?

I would have a 0.1uF ceramic capacitor on each chip and just one 10 to 47uF for the chain.

So, a 0.1uF capacitor on pin 19 of each chip. And a 10 to 47uF between the input GND and 5V of the circuit?
