modify lnb dish antenna for 2.4Ghz

I would modify an LNB for transmit and receive 2.4 GHz with Arduino, my purpose is to use an old parabola.
I have already opened the LNB and I noticed that there is a trumpet with at the base two antennas, one in the vertical and one in horizontal, I removed their circuit.
There's a way to convert it to 2.4 by throwing away the old circuit?
I could change the antenna length to receive in 2.4, removing the LNB circuit and connecting it directly to my transceiver ?
The size of the trumpet will be calibrated in the k band, will it work for the 2.4 or should it be changed?
the choice is yours.
Since I discovered the nrf24l01 I'm getting more and more enthusiast.
sorry i'm not english

Just put your own 2.4 GHz antenna at the focus of the parabola. The dish will certainly form a beam.

what tipe of antenna ?

hello awol,
i have already posted in the italian section days ago, but whi no reply
jremington thanks for the reply

The horn dimensions will probably by wrong for 2.4GHz, a dipole antenna at the focus would work.
