Mounting LCD or touchscreen in panel

I'm working on a couple of projects that will use either character LCDs with up/down/left/right/select buttons, or a touchscreen. While the basic hardware is everywhere, I haven't found much info on accessories to mount these displays into a machined panel with a professional-looking result. Is there a source for bezels or other hardware to allow panel mounting?

Thanks for any pointers.

John

Try laser cut plastics from ponoko.com

Place holes in the plastic for mounting machine screws. Or use more than one layer of plastic - fastened together with spacers.

This worked pretty well and was cheap. I needed a bezel to cover the ugly rectangular hole cut in an aluminum rack panel to hold a 7" TFT. My fix cost 16 dollars and took two hours for them to make.. The local craft store made a cardboard bezel from a black core material that is normally used to make photo frames

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll follow up on that idea.
