okay
Yep. No Arduino is a power supply. For my mega projects I build a Power Distribution Board like this:
THX for the advice
Can i get more details?
this is the Nano's pinout
Can you tell us onto which pins your 4 wires are really connected ?
that does not look like 5V and GND for the red and black cables for example.
5v to red , gnd to black , d5 to echo and d4 to trigger
for example i connect this now it was not like this before
And what to do with this broken one
If you have a 3D printer I have a buncha free Arduino mounts & parts (feet, spacers, brackets, etc.) over on cults3d.com
THX for all to helping me out.
So it's a useless discussion...
we need to know how things were exactly when you had the issue...
how was the board connected to the Mac
what was connected to the board...
was it in a breadboard and how...
if you saw smoke, chances are the board is dead anyway...
Yes the board is dead
Cut the pins off and:
- put it on your keychain
- add a chain and give it to your significant other as a necklace
- Hang it from the mirror in your car
- Throw the burnt out thing in the trash

Should i close this Thread?
Please.
BTW Lemme know if you need any 3d stuff. I make my own bits cheap for postage.
OP's picture is mirrored - take attention to the "Nano" heading on the centre of the board....
absolutely agree....
OP doesn't make the slightest effort to help us help him solve his problem...
It's just a waste of time
Sorry IG but used A nano FOR THE FIRST TIME
OKay
Due to the fact that you do not want or do not know how to answer the questions correctly, we have not found out why the board burned out.
This means that the next nano can burn out the same way.
