My Nano Clone is not working but I have the CH340 drivers installed! I did get it to work a few times by pulling in and out the cable

What do you mean by working and not working?
Can you upload to it or does your code not always run on the Nano Clone?

Have you tried the "Old Bootloader" option in the IDE, as a lot of clones have the old bootloader instead of the later versions.
