Selection of the servo to the controller with a flap weighing 1 kg

Hello everyone.

I'm new here, if it's the wrong section, please move it.

Is such a servo enough for a smooth controller with this flap closed, intermediate positions, open and will it work with Audrino?

The flap movement angle is 90 degrees, closed vertically, open horizontally.

Should I make some gear so that the servo has a large movement, because the flap is very tense at the beginning, even for a small movement.

The flap will be controlled from Audrino based on the lambda probe readings.

Flap dimensions 10x40cm

Weight 1kg

The flap works with one finger.

Regards.

At that price (£1.41) I'd just order a couple and try it!

But from a brief look at the specs I'd say it looks perfectly capable of lifting a flap for the small angle that is its maximum. That is, assuming it's positioned appropriately. Is that all the angle you want?

I'm curious. What's inside that you want to occasionally let out? Or the reverse? Oh, and why is it mounted at an angle?
