I Am student in france and I search since long time a sensor for measure the elasticity.
I found a sensor of Fidgets ( sensor vibration 1104_0 ) but it's not exactly the same sensor.
I add an image so that you understand what exactly the sensor does (with a little schema).

be surprized if you have to design your own.
I'd suggest you'd need a mechanical resonator pumped with a coil/feedback coil like the old tuning-fork

I think it's not a pump because I have the sensor.
And I don't see a mechanical object.
I add a Image of the sensor, there are 3 cables 2 red and 1 black.
(May be it's a piezoelectric)
