Thats COMBINED, not PER PIN.

USB power doesn't go through the anti-backflow diode.
(OTOH, USB power is allowed to drop somewhat below 5V.)

You seem awfully confrontational. My post was meant to be a minor correction with backing evidence. Did you read it as something else?

I wrote "pin packages". As in, the outer shell of the processor with the layout of the connectors coming out of that shell.

Would it help you understand if I had just written "packages"? (Or "configurations"?)

The correct phase is "pin configurations". I apologize for changing that to "pin packages".

I have these on my Arduino USB cables for development work.

Hi,
Handle them with care, the USB plug and socket are poorly soldered to the PCB inside, open it and check if the side tabs on the plug and socket have sufficient copper to physically hold the connection.

I converted mine to leads with plug and socket, cut a USB extension cable in half.

Where can I buy some?

Hi,

Buy some what?

Sorry, I messaged you in error.

Looks like the seller is now selling this version:

Mounting Components in a Project Enclosure.

The following discussion should help makers in placing and mounting components in a project enclosure.

Refer to earlier posts on cutting and making holes for these components.

A digital caliper is a must have tool when transferring component dimensions to your CAD drawing.

Improve your De-soldering Gun’s Efficiency

Not keeping a de-soldering gun clean can result in the premature failure of the vacuum motor or other components.

If you have access to a de-soldering gun, you will know that it is a handy tool in your electronics shop.

It is very important that the solder debris plastic container be clean, and the air filters be maintained.

You can improve the gun’s efficiency by following the instructions as seen in the images below.

The addition of metal wool improves the life of the gun’s filters by acting as a highly effective pre-filter.

The metal used is not important, use what you can find: brass, steel, or copper.

HI,
I keep my desoldering gun very clean, I don't use one.
Have used them and only found one that really worked, it was just that it needed an air compressor.

I use one of these excellent products.
Easy to keep clean, teflon tip will not damage the PCB or fine tracks.
Tip can only block if not emptied of solder, easy to empty.
Is not burning hot!!!
CORDLESS
INSTANT USE (You don't have to wait for it to heat up!!)

ADSYN SOLDERPULLT

Original brand is still being manufactured in the US.
It is so simple in operation, even the clones work just as well.

"The Original" Deluxe SOLDAPULLT with SRT12 Tip and ODS31 O-Ring. The story of the world's first desoldering tool is well-documented and millions are familiar with this now famous blue and yellow model DS017 EDSYN SOLDAPULLT. This spring-loaded vacuum device launched an industry revolution almost 60 years ago. Designed for heavy duty applications and our most popular selling hand desoldering tool, the DS017 is still made at the EDSYN factory located in Van Nuys, California.

Yes, brings back memories, have gone thru a few of those over the years.

The version you show, was the best of them.

Ever been hit in the eye by the "lollypop" version?

A boss was looking over my shoulder once while I was using one of those.

Pushed the release button, the spring triggered, the push top flew off, hit the boss in the eye :+1:

Instant karma!

I have this and I am not a fan of it. It's rather large and the recoil can make it hard to keep the tip over the molten solder the whole time. I use a smaller version, roughly half the length and with mostly aluminum body. Less recoil, still good for sucking solder out of a single pin, and easy to re-cock one handed for the next pin. A few dollars for one on eBay.

I have one of those. Much better, the end of the plunger is shrouded on 3 sides so you can't hit yourself or anyone else with it, but you can re-cock it with one hand.

Sounds like this:
