Hi, I'm new to the IoT kit, and when trying to configure the MKR wifi 1010 with the Arduino cloud I'm faced with an issue in which the board mentions either not connected or the Arduino create agent is not running, I did the tbs, but it happened again, If someone could advise me on how to proceed or what to do to fix that, I would really appreciate it!
Your topic has been moved to the dedicated MKRWIFI1010 section of the forum in the hope that it attracts the attention of the people that are familiar with that board.
press the restart button twice to pause what it is doing (if you use a battery), go to the site https://create.arduino.cc/iot/devices and press add device. select the first possibility and connect the arduino via usb (if not done before, restart 2 times now) and wait for the connection. rename the arduino and upload a basic project, which you can find and choose here: https://create.arduino.cc/iot/templates. finally load the project, open the dashboards from the site: https://create.arduino.cc/iot/dashboards and try ... if you want some advice the most beautiful project (at least for me) is that of the LEDs that you find directly from site: https: //create.arduino.cc/iot/templates/remote-controlled-lights ...

For MKR wifi 1010 to conect to the IoT cloud successfully, you need:
- a good data USB cable, do not use USB 3.0 port or USB hub.
- install Create Agent with admin rights, see https://support.arduino.cc/hc/en-us/articles/360014869820-Install-the-Arduino-Create-Agent
- make sure you clear your browser's cache and update to the latest version (Chrome recommened)
- update board's wifinina firmware, see https://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/WiFiNINA-FirmwareUpdater
- follow https://docs.arduino.cc/cloud/iot-cloud/tutorials/iot-cloud-getting-started
