Suggestions for a Low-RPM, High-Torque AC Motor

Hi all
I am looking for a small AC motor with low rpm like 20-30 rpm or so but a powerful motor so it doesn't just burn away under a load. I am trying to make a pot stirrer for my kitchen. I have no idea what watt it requires or how much torque etc. But what I can say is it needs to have slow speed so that all the gravy doesn't fly out of the pot. Secondly the gravy and other stuff I make usually gets very very thick near the end so the motor needs to be able to take that load. I want an AC motor so that I can just plug it in the nearby socket and don't have to worry about AC-DC conversions or putting in batteries and stuff. The rest of the assembly I can make with stainless blades at the end of a stainless rod to act as a stirrer. Looking forward to your suggestions

Regards

Catherine

A suitable synchronous gearmotor shouldn't be hard to source, I just searched "30rpm synchronous motor"
on eBay and found: AC 220v 30rpm Synchronous Gear Electric Motor Speed Reducing Gear-box for sale online | eBay

You'll have to measure/figure out the necessary torque of course - we can't guess that!

Maybe you need something like this, make a stand so that it can be pulled up to get pan out when it's done.
