ULN2003 Driver Board - motors

I tried using these two together but the motor wasn't quite strong enough.
I looked on amazon for a bigger motor but the ones for sale only hade 4 lead wires not 5 like this board connecter uses.

Can you recommend a motor with slightly more torque?

Is there an easy way to use the 4 lead wire motors with the 5 pin connector?

Hi,
You will probably want to use a stepper motor driver with larger motors, these actually make using a stepper motor easier as it handles all the technical details and the Arduino just has to tell it which direction and how many steps

Take into account that the ULN drops about 2V so your motor actually is fed only by 3V. Increase the motor voltage or use a MOSFET stepper driver module.

Hi, @joshsdesigns
Welcome to the forum.

Can you please tell us what your project is?
We may be able to suggest a different solution to a bigger stepper?

What is thje stepper driving?

Thanks.. Tom... :grinning: :+1: :coffee: :australia:

The weight of the pole and pvc is to much for the motor.

Where does the stepper shaft connect?
What does your project do?
How big is it?
Can you post an image with the steppers connected?

Thanks.. Tom... :grinning: :+1: :coffee: :australia:

Then balance it perhaps?
