Hey im reasonably new to electronics and looking to use a eeprom or silocon serial number to identify a sensor or tool plugged in
I have 10 pins i am using for each 'cartridge'
Gnd sda scl vcc gpio gpio and 4 spare for id or other
I am using a esp32 s3 devkit c
Any help would be greatly apprecaited

I2C slaves must have unique addresses. Isn't that enough identifier?

I suspect you pushed “send” before you completed the description of your project. Are developing a new product compatible with the Arduino?
