I've been working on my senior project for the past couple months -- regarding using image detection to detect the presence of items -- and one of the things I needed to do was set up a camera through Arduino. After some research, I ended up buying the TTL Serial Camera, partially due to the in-depth tutorial available. However, while setting up the VC0706 comm tool like mentioned in the tutorial, I kept getting the error "cmd time out," even when I tried to do something as simple as "Get version." I'm not sure what went wrong, as I followed the tutorial to the letter. I've been trying to get it to work for weeks (to the point of checking the cables, uninstalling/reinstalling the comm tool, and a bunch of other approaches), all to no avail. Does anyone have suggestions regarding how to fix it?
