Hey folks,
I seem to remember a small (8-10 pin) Arduino board that had a usb connector built in that connects to a pc for programming. I need a very small Arduino, 12 pins a side. I will be using it for a bluetooth transmitter to collect accelerometer/gyroscope data from a small 6DOF accelerometer board. Any ideas???
It's kind of a weird project I started years ago. Putting a 6DOF accelerometer/gyroscopic chip inside a bowling ball to send back rotation and angle data via bluetooth. I had purchased boards from a company I can't really remember. Originally used it on my hand and it worked great. But when I put it in a ball and it hit the pins, the 6DOF chip got internally destroyed. I guess the G force generated was outside the chips range. Been thinking of putting the hand motion sensor back in place. I did find the chip I was talking about. It's an Arduino Pro Mini with interface board FTD1232.
But I'm going to pick up this nice little package you've told me about. If I happen to need more as least they're available. I think I can hang an accelerometer board AND a bluetooth board to send realtime data to a PC.
Thanks so much for the heads up!
Best,
Joe B
Hey Grumpy_Mike,
Remember me from last years project? I may look at this after I get the hand interface and finding high G accelerometers, ~5000 G.
I'll let you know.
