I want to copy the Fuses and Lock bits to some new ATmega2560 boards but I can't find my Arduino Mega2560 board. Could someone check an original board and tell how those bits are set.
Thank You

They're defined here:
mega.bootloader.low_fuses=0xFF
mega.bootloader.unlock_bits=0x3F
mega.bootloader.lock_bits=0x0F
...
mega.menu.cpu.atmega2560.bootloader.high_fuses=0xD8
mega.menu.cpu.atmega2560.bootloader.extended_fuses=0xFD
You can just do a Tools > Burn Bootloader in the Arduino IDE to set the fuses according to those definitions.
I see them, thank you. So far I have used Avrisp mkII and Avrstudio. Now I am trying to give the data to an assembly firm.
What else is needed to burn the bootloader with Arduino. Is a plain common Arduino enough.
You can use an extra Arduino board as an "Arduino as ISP" programmer:
You can also use your AVRISP mkII with the Arduino IDE to do a Burn Bootloader. The only tricky thing is that AVR Studio uses the Jungo driver for this programmer but that driver is not compatible with the avrdude tool the Arduino IDE uses for burn bootloader. For this reason, you will need to install the libusbK driver for your AVRISP mkII to use it with the Arduino IDE. The easiest way to do that is using Zadig:
https://zadig.akeo.ie/
then back to the Jungo driver when you want to use it with AVR Studio again. I have seen a tutorial on AVR Freaks forum about how you can set Windows up to automatically use the appropriate driver for each program. I should be able to dig that up if it's something you're interested in.
Thank you again. I remember some of the problems those driver differences caused. Zadic seems to be an interesting program but I think I'll keep only the AVRstudio drivers. The ISP link is definitely needed, I hope I'll find it the next time it is needed.
Hah, yeah I remember having those problems with the driver too. Very frustrating for me at the time! I gave AVR Studio/Visual Micro a try and after I went back to using the Arduino IDE my AVRISP mkII didn't work any more.
