Windows 10 Arduino Uno Driver Error (Updated, new problem)

I just received an Arduino Uno starter kit, and my Windows desktop says that the drivers are unavailable when I check the devices menu, even though I definitely installed them. I've already unplugged it, reinstalled the Arduino software, and removed and re-added the device.

What's going on and how do I fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Update to things I've tried to fix it:

  • Full computer reset, redownloaded Arduino IDE (didn't work)
  • Also didn't work on my mom's computer (Windows laptop)

Good news! We found a solution to the problem! I used Flip to update some firmware on the board itself, and now my driver issue is solved.

However, the reset button doesn't seem to be working and I can't upload anything to the board.
