Hall Effect Switch with Electromagnet

Hello everyone.

Thank you for taking the time to read the message.

I am planning to use an A3144E Hall Sensor Switch in my upcoming project. I was wondering whether or not I was able to use an electromagnet with this sensor, or if I was limited to permanent magnets.

I prefer to use a threshold Hall Switch, as I don't need range detection - just a simple toggle switch using the Hall Switch.

I look forward to hearing some feedback from all of you. Thank you.

An electromagnet will work, if it can produce the required field strength.

Electromagnet's field must be strong enough and correctly oriented to activate the Hall sensor.

And your electro magnet must be DC powered so the magnetic poles are not being switched.

Wiring diagram with voltages and component values please.
