Can anyone identify what type of connector this is?
Thanks
JST makes a sideways punch-down "insulation displacement" type connector:
Maybe google "insulation displacement" and "wire to board" connectors?
Did some research. I think it is a mta-100 connector.
It's an Insulation Displacement connector, similar to a Digi-Key WM2616-ND: old part number for a 6-position version of the same thing that I just happen to have on-hand. You can use a screwdriver to push the wire in, but it's easier with the right tool.
As someone else said, it's in the TE Connectivity/Molex MTA series if that helps.
Found it. Thanks!
MTA-100 or MTA-156
Here's a link into their catalog:
Measure carefully. MTA-100 & MTA-156 have different spacing.
