Hi, I am using two HW-201 IR sensors for a simple object-following robot. I want the robot to detect my hand, but the sensors only detect 1 cm away. It detects a little better if I use white paper instead of my hand, but it is still only around 2-3 cm. Is that normal for these types of sensors? Is there a way to increase the detection range? Thank you.
Nevermind, I just found out I can adjust the potentiometer with a screw. Sorry, I'm a noob here
You should provide a link to any components you mention on a thread, to save others having to track it down and perhaps find the wrong one.
But the links I found show that there's an adjustment pot on those sensors. What happens when you change it?
