Hi, I’m begging in the world of Arduino on my own. I watched some tutorials only and learnt to use several hardware. However, I can’t make my display to show anything. The code is kinda simple and I’ve copy and paste it from the tutorial to make sure it wasn’t the problem. I think the problem is on the connections of the breadboard, can u help me please ? Sorry if it’s not the place or if it’s just a very silly problem, but I don’t know anyone else who likes electronics
bad soldering work. bad wires itself. bad wires connection. not adjusted contrast. broken LCD. you may missed pins on Arduino (stuck in wrong place).
normal LCD shows upper raw full of black blocks at the start.
the screen turns on so i think i sold it well, i adjusted the contrast that is ehy i have the potenciometer. And i can not see if i did a bad connection, i think they are ok. The wires work, i have used them in all of my other projects.
Welcome, Help us help and post your code following the forum guidelines and use code tags. What you have posted is not readable for me. I cannot follow your tangle of wires can you post a schematic. I have a pin board that looks like the one you have but the power rails are broken in the middle. On yours it would be between the blue and white wires.

Sorry is my first post, the code is kinda simple so i posted the image, now i know that i should have post the code in the specified format. I dont have nice wires, as i said i'm a begginer. I can provide the schematics, but as i said, i'm just triying to connect an LCD monitor.
Thanks, it was a welding problem
