Universal PNP (and PNP) transistors (BJT) for ATmega328 based Arduinos - what to buy?

1. I can convert SMD parts to be breadboard friendly
2. I am using 5V as mentioned in the post #1
3. I am now amplifying just weak signals (so result is yes/no kind), but when I will eventually start to play with audio, then BJT/OpAmps will be more appropriate

Here I made 8 LED indicators (LED+resistor+transistor as emitor follower = ~100kOhm input impedance) to fit breadboard
