Wireless USB Cable Laptop to Arduino for Programming

I'm getting bogged down searching for a wireless USB cable that I can connect from my laptop to the Arduino MEGA I'm using. Like USB-A connector (computer) to USB-B connector (arudiono) but wireless.

Mostly I want to upload programs without the confines of a cable.

Anyone know or can recommend a supplier of said wireless USB interface cable? There are some Wireless USB hubs on Ebay but I'm not sure if that is the way to go.

I'm sure is something out there. Perhaps it's even addressed on this blog. I've searched many places. The trouble is when you search these keywords you end up getting drowned in Wiresless USB Network cards, converting USB printers to network printers or wireless Arduino backplanes.

A pair of Pololu's Wixels can be used to program an Arduino wirelessly.

Edit: A lot of products which claim to be wireless USB devices will work with a very limited number of devices. I'd make sure and check the device can program an Arduino before purchasing it.

Another Edit: I've used Wixels to program 3.3V devices. Apparently you may need level shifters to use it to program a 5V Arduino.

Been there done that. Wasn't born yesterday.

If you're looking at the "Cables Unlimited USB-WIRELESS Dongle Set (Black)" then you would be tricked. Read the details. This is the USB-A side. These work with their Wireless HUB. They are also expensive.

I'm looking for Wireless USB-A to USB-B.

Delta_G:
A short cable on the receiver and you have what you want no? Or are you looking for something with that short cable already made into it so it's useless for any other type of USB connection? That doesn't sound like a product many would produce. Most companies would want something like this to adapt to as many types of applications as possible.

Or this adapter if it is just the cable you don't want.

@Delta_g, Most of the Arduino and other micro logic controllers have USB-B (female) connectors on them. Older external harddrives have the USB-B (female) connectors. Then you have printers and many video cameras use the USB-B connector. Actually there are quite a few uses for a wireless cable.

Your other suggestion using the Wixels or two $20 dollar micro-controller to create a USB dongle isn't ideal. I think I would go the wireless HUB route before venturing into that.

Well I found this, but it is out of production and the reviews are awful. But it is very near what I'm looking for. More than 30 ft range would be nice.

Still looking.....
